Serbian Studies, a flagship journal of North American Society for Serbian Studies has devoted its 2025 issue to Professor Dimitrije Djordjevic, one of its founders. Several texts about his life, his influence on Balkanology and his role in fostering relations between American and Serbian historiography have been assembled under the editorship of CISI head Vladimir Petrovic, including the one he co-authored with Dr Rade Ristanovic on Djordjevic’s arrest and imprisonment by the Germans during the Second World War.
