1After several semesters of offerings courses which revisited different phenomena from the Balkans within CEU’s Invisible University for Ukraine and a successful joint summer school in Budapest, Fall 2025 semester begins in October with two courses (out of 12) devoted to the Balkans:
- Protests, Social Transformations and the EU: Rethinking the Balkans for Ukraine. Course co-directors: Marija Mandić (IFDT) and Olesia Marković (Kyiv- Mohyla Academy)
- Facing the Legacy of the Yugoslav Wars. Course co-directors: Vladimir Petrović (CISI) and Miloš Hrnjaz (Faculty of Political Science University of Belgrade)
Those courses are attended by over 200 students, both from Ukraine and Southeastern Balkans, as well as those students from all over the world who are interested in these regions of Europe, marking a new stage in creating a flexible hob for exchange of knowledge.
