Our associate Katarina Besirevic took part in a debate Serbia at a Crossroads: Democracy, Protests and the Future of European Values organized by Harvard’s sociology department, dedicated to student protests. Hosted by Professor Danilo Mandic, this zoom panel was addressing various issues of crossroads Serbia is at. In front of an audience of over 300 people, alongside with Ivanka Pavlovc, i former rector of Belgrade University, Professor Srdjan Verbic, former Minister of Education, she reflected on students demands and on new opportunities of democratization of the country opened by their protests.
